Haymans Group recognises its responsibility to practise outstanding health and safety across every area, safeguarding everyone around us. Doing the bare minimum is not acceptable and we have a defined strategy to go above and beyond standard requirements.
Why is health and safety important?
Health and safety affects every aspect of working life and is particularly crucial in the area of facilities management where we often have to work in hazardous situations and environments. Our actions affect those around us which is why every member of our team is fully trained to work safely and responsibly. Our aim is to reduce accidents and incidents across the board, creating the safest possible environments for our customers and the public.
Haymans Health and Safety management systems and processes
Our managers have a duty of care and are committed to demonstrating exemplary health and safety standards, working to international standards for quality management (ISO 9001) and occupational health and safety management (OHSAS 18001). We have a strong framework of policies, regular audits and risk assessments in place to ensure that all our staff comply with our core health and safety values. We continually assess the way we work through thorough detailed feedback and evaluation so that we can maintain and encourage progress throughout the company.
Our duty and moral responsibility as a company to uphold exceptional health and safety standards is carried out by our staff. Their attention to detail and awareness of their surroundings is vital which is why everyone, from our engineers and consultants to our office staff are trained to a high standard. Our security operatives all hold SIA licenses, our electricians are NICEIC certified, and our plumbers are all Gas Safe registered, so that our customers can rest assured that they are in safe hands.
